We like asymmetrical wall units that have a strong overall form and express the complexity of what they hold. This one also benefited from some beautiful handmade copper hardware in the Japanese tradition. Could be adapted for use as a dresser.
Shown in Cherry and Art Glass.
The blackened steel frame for this bench interacts structurally with the wood slabs in a complex way, yet it reads as simple. Designed for shoes in an entryway, this bench could also serve a living ensemble or a bedroom well.
Shown in Quartered Sycamore and Blackened Steel.
